We received a warm welcome from Mario. He was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay - on one occasion he arranged an evening meal reservation for us at Rancho Don Luis (they opened up just to accommodate us and the other couple staying at Amazilia). Our room was an adequate size - the wide bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well (though the water wasn't hot). We made very good use of the lovely pool area. The dining area was great and we enjoyed the breakfasts - the cook was also responsible for cleaning the rooms and the property and she did a great job. Amazilia is ideally located for Parque Nacional Rinco de la Vieja - unfortunately, during our stay, the park was closed due to the excessive rainfall Costa Rica had been having. We ate 3 times at nearby Rancho Los Gavilanes - it has a lovely setting by a river.

The location couldn’t be more convenient, situated in the heart of Tamarindo with easy access to everything. The staff was exceptional, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful pool that was perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend House of Nomad Tamarindo for anyone looking for a top-notch experience in this beautiful area.
