Check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, and the location excellent. I really appreciated the drawer under the bed for safely storing my belongings. The entire place was cleaned daily. The space is small, but in a cozy, intimate way that naturally encourages connection with the other guests.

For me the location was great: outside of center Espargos means no noises at all, super quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Minimarket was 5 min walking away, nice and cheap restaurant 3 min. I even walked to the airport which was around 40min. The bus station for the collectivos to Santa Maria (scooter rental) is 20min walking. The room and the house is superclean, modern, and the owner is really friendly, and nearly always available via booking or WhatsApp. He speaks Portugese, Englisch, spanish and french... He has mountain bikes for rent (just 7km to the Salinas), and in the near future also scooter. The room is big with a big bed and a comfy matrace. There is a table and chairs. Also there are enough plugs to charge your stuff. The bathroom looks / is new and has a shower with hot water. The WiFi works great. I loved staying here! Definitely recommend this place!

Die Unterkunft Branco Suites - Rooms & Holiday Apartments bietet Stadtblick, eine Terrasse sowie kostenloses WLAN. We felt like home from the first moment of our arrival during the night. Communication was great. Apartment we had (304) had two rooms and two bathrooms + living room and terrace. Everything new and very clean. There is everything you need in the kitchen. 5min walk to the Main Street and the beach. Everything is close by, restaurants, bars. We organised also airport pick up with the hotel and on last day we could leave or stuff at the reception since we had a very late departure. People working here are so nice and welcoming, always positive and helpful. Definitely recommend to visit also the restaurant next to the reception, since we did it only towards the end of our stay! Peace of Italy in the middle of Atlantic Ocean.

I loved this apartment and with I could have stayed longer! The hosts are so friendly and helpful, arranging everything for me and even taking the time to walk me to the colectivo station so I could get a cheaper ride back to the airport than possible with a taxi. The apartment itself has everything you need and there is a great grocery store around the corner, plus countless good restaurants and coffee shops in east walking distance. You get all the benefit of Santa Maria’s amenities without feeling cloistered in a resort.

Candidas Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft übertrifft wirklich alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Vielen Dank vom ganzen Herzen! Und das Frühstück allein ist schon Grund genug, hier zu übernachten: von frischem Bircher Müsli bis zu Cachupa ist alles vom Feinsten. Bei dieser Vielfalt sollte man es morgens definitiv nicht eilig haben.

Die Unterkunft Mister Barracuda ist direkt am Strand, gelegen in Santa Maria, 40 m von Strand Santa Maria und 100 m von Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows entfernt. Wonderful stay! The appartement was magnificent, with an amazing view. Everything was perfect. A special thanks to Susana, who was absolutely exceptional and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

The service and attention that you as a customer receive every day is great🤩. I stayed in room 2 (for me one of the nicest room)😌. The room was large, with good working air conditioning and a beautiful view of the popular square and main street.The servers were friendly one by one and want to do everything for you "NO STRESS". And every evening there is live music downstairs in the restaurant with good music. You dance💃🏾 until you can't feel your feet anymore (haha). For your safety, a security guard is present every night and after an evening out he will bring you safely to the entrance so that you can safely return to your room. Breakfast ,lunch and diner: Every morning I could choose between 3 different breakfast menus (American🥓, Cape Verde🫘 and Mediterranean🍅). All three were tasty and you get a lot! You can also enjoy a delicious meal there (lunch and dinner). Try their burger🍔 (one of the tastiest burgers in Cabo Verde!)🤌🏽.  The beach and the famous pier are a 3-minute walk from the hotel! All famous cafes and restaurants are a 5 or 6 minute walk from the hotel. If you want to save money, book all activities through Dorry, which will save you 10 to 20 euros per excursion. And you can also arrange your transport to and from the airport through Dorry. Ocean Suites is for me the best hotel in Santa Maria! Adilson makes the best coffee☕️ for you in the morning. Janete serves you with her beautiful smile in the evening 😍(She has the most beautiful curls I had ever seen) And Flavio teaches you the coolest dance moves every evening💃🏾.
