Check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, and the location excellent. I really appreciated the drawer under the bed for safely storing my belongings. The entire place was cleaned daily. The space is small, but in a cozy, intimate way that naturally encourages connection with the other guests.

I loved this apartment and with I could have stayed longer! The hosts are so friendly and helpful, arranging everything for me and even taking the time to walk me to the colectivo station so I could get a cheaper ride back to the airport than possible with a taxi. The apartment itself has everything you need and there is a great grocery store around the corner, plus countless good restaurants and coffee shops in east walking distance. You get all the benefit of Santa Maria’s amenities without feeling cloistered in a resort.

We were staying at Lafayette Alojamentos for a few days, and really enjoyed our stay there! The place really felt like a home for us: there was really clean, breakfasts were amazing, and the staff was really warm and kind.
