Staff is super friendly, the Hotel building is well maintained and feels "homey", the location is great, yes, this is not in the middle of the forest and there aren't any lakes and fall views from the window BUT - it isn't super touristy yet close enough to Rust and the Black Forest without being super crowded and expensive which is a major plus for large families like ours. Another thing to mentioned is the good AC, we were traveling during August and feared the heat and it turned out to be just fine because of it.
