We had an amazing time at Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius. It exceeded our expectations in terms of the room, breakfast, vineyard and wine. Offering a shared lounge and mountain view, HAUS BENICO -Pension- is set in Ernst, 4.8 km from Cochem Castle and 32 km from Castle Eltz. We really enjoyed our staying in this hotel. It is a cosy family hotel. Ben and Nico & family made us feel very welcome. The room was recently renovated, and we’re glad that they kept a German touch ;) The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, fresh and there was enough choice. I’m very thankful for the fresh glutenfree sandwiches I got every morning. ☺️ Upon our arrival, we received free tickets from Ben, so we were able to freely use the public transport during our whole staying. Really practical, since there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And Cochem is just a 9 minutes bus ride away. Ernst was a perfect location from which we could easily travel and visit other villages allong the Moselle region. We enjoyed our vacation and will certainly come back to this hotel!

A recently renovated apartment, Ferienwohnungen Bullay offers accommodation in Bullay. The property has mountain and river views, and is 25 km from Cochem Castle. This was our second time my daughter and I stayed in the appartment in Bullay.Christoph is one of the nicest and most obliging hosts I have met..nothing is a problem and he will do his best to make your stay a comfortable and very pleasureable one.The appartment is beautiful and absolutely spotless-superby appointed -Christoph has thought of everthing to cater for his guests' needs..not withstanding the beautiful welcoming arrival gift of fresh flowers and chocolates to greet you .Bullay is a fabulous place-scenic and peaceful but is also so well served with local Bakery/Supermaket and train station nearby ...a day trip to Luxembourg from Bullay station made our trip all the more memorable.I can unreseveradly recommend this accomodation and very much look forward to a return trip next summer .Herzlichen Dank Christoph x
