Mariandl am Berg ligger i Amberg, med Stadttheater Amberg bare 6 minutters gange unna. We were glad that the receptionist waited for us for some minutes past 8pm as they finish working at 8pm. We travelled with bicycles and we could safely park then in a closed area within the hotel. All was perfect!

I Regensburg, 5,5 kilometer fra Regensburg domkirke, ligger Hotel INCLUDiO, som har et treningsstudio, gratis privat parkering, en terrasse og en restaurant. This is my regular stop on the way home or back, and I am looking forward to it every time. I think is one of the rare hotels where I am not rolling eyes at bathroom storage space and solutions. Breakfast was great as always, this time I enjoyed it outside on the terrace. Complimentary water is always a nice touch after a long drive. Friendly staff.

Located in Regensburg, Green Spirit Hotel has a garden and a terrace. The property is around 3.6 km from Cathedral Regensburg, less than 1 km from Stadtamhof and 1 km from Old Stone Bridge. Large, clean apartment, way bigger than expected from a hotel room. The location is not very central but the walk to the old town is very scenic as it crosses the historic bridge across Danube. It has a dedicated parking garage, which is nice.

This unique hotel is a historic 300-year-old former prison built into the historic wall in Amberg, just 350 metres from the town hall square. Hotel Fronfeste takes the prison theme to the extreme, in the best possible way. They even have a "prison escape" adventure that other guests participated (we did not), in which they wore striped uniforms, that made the whole experience feel more lighthearted and fun. On a more serious side, I work in corrections in the US, and it was interesting to me to see the structure and construction of this authentic medieval prison. The staff was very, very friendly and super helpful and nice. (If you are the type who would not like to have casual, personal conversation with the staff, this may not be the place for you.)

This charming hotel is a historic building from the 12th century which is situated in the heart of the beautiful Old Town of Regensburg, close to all main UNESCO World Heritage sites. Lovely old house in the middle of Regensburg. The Hotel is beautifully refurbished but still has it's own character. Check-in was fast and the manager was accommodating and very friendly. We also received an upgrade, which was very nice as well! The rooms have their own theme and it's was really nicely furnished. Also it was very clean although it's an old place. I will definitely come back, if I ever have to travel to Regensburg again. It is near all the restaurants and sights and parking is also just around the corner. Thank you for everything!
