Location is near everything one might need. Room had a great couch, bathroom was super modern and fantastic. A/C was super cool on a hot day. Mini-fridge was a big plus so we could store cold drinks and relax without going out. Underground parking was perfect - right next to the lift. Will be back.

Located in Regensburg, Green Spirit Hotel has a garden and a terrace. The property is around 3.6 km from Cathedral Regensburg, less than 1 km from Stadtamhof and 1 km from Old Stone Bridge. Modern lovely place! I loved how artsy it was all around the areas. The room was quite standard but very comfy and satisfying. Shower with great with warm water all the time even when it was snowing outside.

This unique hotel is a historic 300-year-old former prison built into the historic wall in Amberg, just 350 metres from the town hall square. Hotel Fronfeste takes the prison theme to the extreme, in the best possible way. They even have a "prison escape" adventure that other guests participated (we did not), in which they wore striped uniforms, that made the whole experience feel more lighthearted and fun. On a more serious side, I work in corrections in the US, and it was interesting to me to see the structure and construction of this authentic medieval prison. The staff was very, very friendly and super helpful and nice. (If you are the type who would not like to have casual, personal conversation with the staff, this may not be the place for you.)

This very large and clean apartment is right beside the railway station (but still very quiet and safe) and in easy walking distance to the historical centre through beautiful public parks. The kitchen is very well equipped and a grocery shop is right across in the station, so self catering is easy. But is it really necessary when there are so many good restaurants in the centre?
