This place was very quiet, clean, and exemplary, with air conditioning, Good beds (pillows not so), and 2x blinds (Divide blind curtains + electr. aluminium blinds).

From 4 March 2024, our parking garage will only be accessible via Maximilianstraße due to construction measures in Katharinengasse. Hotel Maximilian is the best hotel ever. We traveled a lot but this is the no 1 for us. I love everything here. The rooms are great, the bathrooms...large, clean. I feel like home. I remember one night we came from a long driving way, tired, it was cold outside, and after a few minutes we entered the room, a lady came and asked us if we needed more towels or water to drink. It was the maximum sign of care that we received from a hotel ever.

Offering free Wi-Fi in public areas, the Klosterstüble is 300 metres from Rothenburg Market Square. The location was perfect allowing us to explore this beautiful town. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, breakfast was varied with the option of cooked food too. This hotel is in a gorgeous old building, it felt like we were staying in a castle!! We had the family room which was excellent and meant we had our own separate spaces so two happy teens!!

Paid private parking is available in the underground car park of Hotel Sonne - Das kleine Altstadt Hotel Rothenburg. We travelled to Rothenburg for the first weekend of the Christmas Market and decided to stay overnight Saturday. Hotel Sonne had availability and so glad they did! The hotel is located in old town 1/2 block from the Christmas market which we felt completely immersed in our complete stay; it was magical! We arrived early for check in and were greeted by such friendly staff at reception! Our luggage was moved to storage even before we requested. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the festive season; the ambiance was so warm and inviting. We were able to come and go from the hotel to use facilities and warm up as we enjoyed everything magical at the Christmas Market. The Christmas Market closed; we returned to enjoy glass of wine in the lounge ( dedicated to hotel guests onl); a magical extension of the festivities! The welcoming mural on the door to our room gave a sensation of warmth and intrigue and the room did not disappoint; it was exceptionally clean with attention to every detail, including welcome cookies, chocolates and apples! Following a wonderful sleep in very comfortable beds, we were greeted by staff in the lounge and shown to our reserved table and enjoyed a delightful breakfast seated by the window overlooking the market street! In summary, our experience was 10/10+, thanks to the authentically friendly staff!😍

The location is very good, right in the city center, walking distance from shops restaurants and main city attractions. The room was super spacious, comfortable and modern. The main highpoint was our breakfast. We were brought a very broad selection of bread, jellies, waffles, yoghurt, boiled and scrambles eggs, juice, coffee... everything served with a lot of love and care by the staff.
