Set amid Bavaria's scenic mountains and lakes, this hotel has a prime location at the foot of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. The hotel is located less than 2 km away from the Neuschwanstein Castle. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And the staff in the breakfast and dining room was very attentive.

Loved the location, right in the centre of the historic town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size, the bathroom was huge. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Loved the decor. The breakfast area was superb. The breakfast was adequate but not a lot of variety unfortunately but still nice. Parking for the car was close enough to the hotel and we were able to unload luggage outside before moving it. I would highly recommend this accommodation and if I'm lucky enough to visit again I would stay here.

Centrally situated in Rothenburg, this family-run hotel is housed in historic buildings dating from the 16th century. The room had a very traditional look and it felt very welcoming. Also there was an air conditioner. That was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was fantastic. There was a vast variety of food, even cake and muffins, but also different kinds of bread and rolls. The jam came in tiny closed containers so it felt very clean. There was even sparkling wine. The staff was friendly and always ready to help.

This 3-star hotel is in a quiet side street in the historic town centre of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It offers a friendly family-run atmosphere and traditional Franconian cuisine. Location was exceptional. Very friendly and accommodating host and excellent breakfast. The beds were very comfortable.
