This place was a great find in the middle of a very interesting little town full of culture. Also for some reason this town is not affected by the power cuts so 24 hours of electricity. I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, we stayed only one night, but this place is just great and the hosts could not have been more helpful, the communication was excellent and the coffee was the best ever. This small hotel is not only new (opened three years ago) but also perfectly maintained and super clean. Tucked in a quiet and safe corner, in a short walking distance to a shopping mall (2 mins away), taxis and ATMs, the hotel is also close to the city centre, so we even walked downtown (15 mins) and back in the evening. The beds meet the standards of a four-star hotel, so you can sleep comfortably after chilling in bed watching Netflix and resting before climbing Chimborazo.

Everything about the structure is perfect, clean, well maintained, well managed. The atmosphere in the common area was cosy. The two hosts are wonderful, they gave us all the support we needed, they give us the chance to rent climbing equipment and without their support it would be for sure more expensive and maybe not even possible. Even about the trekkings to the Chimborazo and to the Laguna Amarilla they gave us good advices.

Located in Riobamba, 14 km from San Andrés, Casa de Mármol provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. Irma is an impeccable host. She will make sure that your stay will be as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was the best ever. The place is clean, the location is excellent. A very comfortable place to stay. The best in Riobamba. Highly recommended.
