The hostess is warm and lovely and happy to chat. The dinner was fabulous! The bed comfortable and warm with many blankets. Great breakfast and pack lunch. There's a fireplace games and books as well as endless coffee tea and water. Plus good wifi. All that amazingness and you walk out the door in the morning and you're on the trail!

La atención de Clarita fue excepcional. La habitación es muy amplia y cómoda. La comida vegetariana está riquísima. También nos encantó Teresa, una gatita que tienen que es muy cariñosa. A pesar de los cortes de luz, nos pudimos bañar con agua caliente cuando quisimos. Y teníamos wifi todo el rato.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The meals were fantastic, the fire place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hot water is hot, the location is easy to get to via local buses from Quito, the day tour to Cotopaxi is great and affordable and the property is quiet. It ticks every box!

Owners worked very hard to satisfy us, food was excellent, rooms were large, lots of blankets and a nice countryside smell. You get so much more for such a small price. We had a nice steam bath and the view of the canyon is unique and absolutely breathtaking.

I took a tour with the hotel to see Cotopaxi and I was very happy with the experience. They also have many interesting animals in the garden to pet. A great place to stay if you are visiting Cotopaxi.

We had a great time at the lodge during a two-night stay. Adrien provided an abundance of information about the local culture and volcanos, and organized a day trip to Cotopaxi with a local guide. The lodge is also a fully functioning farm with pigs, llamas, goats, chickens, horses, and most endearing to us, dogs. Anouk was always waiting for us in the doorway to throw the latest piece of wood she had found. The bed we slept in was very comfortable with a heated blanket and an additional heater in the room. There was a firepit in our room that we regrettably didn't end up using, but it's there for those who enjoy fireside relaxation. Adrien prepared breakfast and dinner each day for us, all of which were filling and delicious.
