Lagoon Hotel Chugchilan in Chugchilán provides adults-only accommodation with a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The food was excellent and the land lady was very flexible in making an early breakfast. We had a very cozy fireplace, the best shower we've had in years, and a comfortable bed. It's a great stop for anyone doing the Quilotoa loop trek, cannot recommend this place enough.

Set in Chugchilán, Hostal Doña Clarita Inn features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

Cuscungo Cotopaxi Hostel & Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Chasqui. It was so beautiful and peaceful!

Llullu Llama Mountain Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Hacienda Provincia. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. The hostel is just exceptional - the rooms , private or dorms, the dining room , the studio to practice yoga, the music corner with guitars, the spa. The guys really invested in design, and the place has its own spirit. The food was great, and a ton of hot water.

With mountain views, Hostal el Vaquero is set in Chugchilán and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and children's playground. Easy Check in and super friendly host. Great diner, where Victor met our needs as we are fructose intolerance. Bed was comfy, shower was good. Great location final stage of the Quilotoa Loop starts at the hostel. Breakfast was amazing, especially tghe cheese sandwich was insanely good. Got three of them on the Trek. Sauna for 3 USD is also available. Highly recomand to stay.

Located in Isinliví, Hostal Taita Cristobal offers accommodation with seating area. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. This place is not as famous as the Llullu Llama Lodge but it offers the same quality and friendly atmosphere! The hosts (2 sisters) were super friendly, they lit the fireplace even though we were the only guests. The food was delicious and the portions were huge!

Set in Chasqui, 49 km from Metropolitano del Sur Park, Rondador Cotopaxi offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. Everything was amazing! The communication from booking to arriving was great on how to get to the accommodation! The staff were so friendly and helpful! When we checked in we were given a bigger room to make our stay more comfortable! The restaurant on site is great and the food was all delicious including the breakfast which had a good selection to choose from! The animals on site were a very cute touch! Lots of chickens and ducks, and 2 Llamas that were very friendly and we got to feed carrots! They also can help with tours - we did the Cotopaxi base camp walk/hike - it was just us two with the guide and great value including lunch! They also offer affordable laundry!

I had the pleasure of staying at The Hostal Cloud Forest for one night, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for my stay. Their service truly stood out and made me feel right at home. The setting was great, it offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The accommodations were comfortable, and while the nights can get quite chilly due to the lack of heating, the hostel provides exceptionally warm blankets. Once I was under the covers, I was perfectly cozy and had a great night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a unique and immersive stay on the Quilotoa hiking loop with warm hospitality, The Hostal Cloud Forest is a fantastic choice. I would definitely recommend it to nature lovers and adventurers alike!

Situated in Lasso, Hostería Hotel Cuello de Luna - Cotopaxi - Country Inn features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a garden and a restaurant. Cool historical building they have restored into a cozy hotel close to Cotopaxi. We were a family of 6 and there were swings in the yard, animals to see, and ample room to throw a frisbee in the yard. Inside were cozy fires for games and chats. The staff was excellent. They were attentive, kind, so helpful and great conversationalists. We had a great Horseback ride in Cotopaxi at Tambopaxi. We would highly recommend to others. The breakfast was filling and great! And the dinners house made and delicious. You will enjoy this location!
