Only a 2-minute walk from Montañita downtown, Hotel Kundalini offers large green areas and is located right in front of the sea shore. Fabulous hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Hot and cold water dispenser at reception area was very useful. We only had a basic room but it was great. Good hot water and pressure. Great bed and linen. Nice AC that didn't hit you whilst in bed. Great breakfast with sand under your feet if you wished with a great view of the sea. Breakfast from a lovely menu cooked to order. Has it's own private beach where you could avoid hawkers. We didn't try the evening meals here but I'm sure they would have been great. This hotel is a short walk along the beach to the main area of town for eating and drinking. Great sunset from here. I would definitely come here again.

A few steps from Puerto Lopez Beach, Café Madame is a recently renovated property set in Puerto López and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. What a wonderful staff. They helped us get book our activities, fed us wonderful food, and answered all of our questions. We had everything we needed right next to the beach. Quiet and clean. We hope to be back soon. A beautiful and tasteful hotel. The rooms were spacious and in a really nice style. Our balcony was amazing- we had a hammock, chairs and sofa to chill on. The pool was beautiful. The rooms/ cabins were in an enclosed area with lovely planting. It was heaven. The breakfasts were great too and the staff were so kind and generous. We have been in Ecuador for 5 weeks and this is bar far our favourite hotel

I had a wonderful stay here. Even though the weather wasn't on my side, and I was the only guest in the hotel for the duration of my stay, I still really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I'd definitely stay here again.
