Only a 2-minute walk from Montañita downtown, Hotel Kundalini offers large green areas and is located right in front of the sea shore. Fabulous hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Hot and cold water dispenser at reception area was very useful. We only had a basic room but it was great. Good hot water and pressure. Great bed and linen. Nice AC that didn't hit you whilst in bed. Great breakfast with sand under your feet if you wished with a great view of the sea. Breakfast from a lovely menu cooked to order. Has it's own private beach where you could avoid hawkers. We didn't try the evening meals here but I'm sure they would have been great. This hotel is a short walk along the beach to the main area of town for eating and drinking. Great sunset from here. I would definitely come here again.

Paola, Manuel and Francisco were the best hosts: Friendly, attentive, generous but un-intrusive. They made all of our stay fantastic and really can’t be praised enough. The Hostal itself is charming, perfectly located 10 seconds from the beach (just cross the road) and, with its walled courtyard, kind of an oasis. The communal kitchen is open-air and a great place to hang out in the hammocks. We had two rooms that were both great but with different vibes: the room with en-suite bathroom had great natural light and was really beautiful. The other room had a second bed in a loft space up a ladder. Our 7 year old was beyond thrilled and didn’t want to leave. The entire place is clean and well-maintained.

They helped us get book our activities, fed us wonderful food, and answered all of our questions. We had everything we needed right next to the beach. Quiet and clean. We hope to be back soon. I Puerto López, 2 minutters gange fra Puerto Lopez-stranden, ligger New Nautilus Lodge, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en terrasse. Very friendly staff, very big room and balcony. There was an issue with the TV that couldn't be fixed during our stay, which prompted an invitation to a drink with the hosts. The on-site pool is sizeable. The hosts have put a great deal of effort into creating the feel of a rustic yet luxurious tropical cabin and have succceeded admirably.

Intiquilla Hotel ligger nær stranden i Manta, et steinkast fra Santa Marianita-stranden og 18 kilometer fra Manta Harbour. Everything was OK. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. I think it is the best solution near Manta

I Montañita, 4 minutters gange fra Montañita-stranden, ligger Casa Del Merman at GayMontanita House, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. I had a wonderful stay here. Even though the weather wasn't on my side, and I was the only guest in the hotel for the duration of my stay, I still really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I'd definitely stay here again.
