The Nile view from my balcony is incredible. And the room itself is clean, cozy and designed in Nubian style. The staff were amazing and a special mention to Somaya whose warmth and good energy made me feel at home very quickly. And of course the manager Samir who was supportive in organising tours and making suggestions to improve my stay. The house dining was so tasty! The restaurant food was delicious, I was there for a few nights and ate in every night. Aswan was one of the biggest highlights of my trip to Egypt. And it was made all the better because of the team at Dolty Kato.

The house is huge and the gardens are special. The owner is super kind and friendly. He makes such a wonderful breakfast and truly cares about his guests. The welcome drink was so fresh too. Comfortable rooms and everything was clean. We recommend staying in Abu Simbel to see the sunrise and beat the crowds. Was a highlight of our trip. Good location, quick walk to town and to the Temple.

The owner Mohammed and his team went beyond everything to make the visit a success. We were welcomed as friends, had delicious meals that were freshly prepared (fish, beef, kefta) and got the best advices. What a great host! We stayed in Ashraf’s home really. Had home cooked dinner and breakfast which were among the best meals of our whole Egypt trip. Ashraf also made immaculate arrangements re:our amazing sunrise boat ride and return transfer to Aswan by car. If you’re going to Abu Simbel, you cannot go wrong with Osiris Guest House.

Offering garden views, Nuba Heart is an accommodation situated in Aswan, 24 km from Kitchener's Island and 25 km from Aswan High Dam. We enjoyed our stay at Nuba Heart. Everything was great. But, the highlight for us was Tamer, the hotel owner. Tamer is a real example of Nubian kindness. He was very helpful to us and made everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He also helped us organize our activities with the best prices, you can count on him to help you organize your trip and anything you'll need. Tamer is Number one in Aswan!

Al fouad is set in Abu Simbel. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Abu Simbel Temples is 1.4 km away. This is an excellent, very clean homestay. The location is a bit tricky to find, but after contacting the host on WeChat, they immediately came to open the door and hand us the keys. They were also thoughtful enough to buy us some local snacks. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the temple—just a straight shot down the road. Breakfast is available along the way to the temple. Given that internet signal is generally poor across Egypt, we expected the homestay’s Wi-Fi to be weak too, but it turned out to be the best among several hotels we experienced—smooth enough to stream videos without any issues.
