The staff was friendly and very welcoming - Daniel shared some main destinations including some off the trail places in the city. Overall I loved it!

The hotel is unassuming but very elegant like a boutique hotel. Every detail very well thought of. The location is great as well, loved our stay.

However, this was a 4-star hotel. The breakfast was a full spread of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, smoked salmon, omelets to order and a wide selection of coffees. It was not downtown, but my wife and I love to walk and easily made the 4 km walk into town on a daily basis. Once, we caught the bus which was super convenient, as many bus routes go to the hospital, which is next door to the hotel.

Catalonia Donosti has a restaurant, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in San Sebastián. It’s a beautiful, clean and modern hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great location.
