Just 4 years old, it is run by a family who obviously take pride in providing excellent hospitality at a very fair price. Spotlessly clean, excellent pilgrim meal and breakfast (including fresh fruit salad and bakers' bread, not the usual cheap sliced rubbish), again at a very fair price, nothing seemed too much trouble. Fantastic showers with pipping hot water. We congratulate the owners on a job very well done.

Hospedería Monasterio de La Vid has a restaurant, bar, a garden and terrace in La Vid y Barrios. The hotel features family rooms. Free private parking is available onsite. The location was brilliant; so quiet and lovely. The monastery itself was restored beautifully and with great care and style. The room was spacious and super clean. The AC worked so great so we were able to sleep restfully. Food was lovely and the young team in the cafeteria was just so attentive and nice. GREAT JOB really.

Great host, friendly, helpful and very responsive. Provided us with all the details on places to visit as well as food outlets. Helped us to get a 6:00 am taxi to the train station which takes the stress out of us since we have an early train to catch and we don't speak Spanish. Easy check-in and check-out. The apartment is lovely and fully equipped with all the basic amenities if you want to prepare breakfast or warm up a meal. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, cozy and safe. Very near to Burgos Cathedral and other attractions, all within walking distance, including the ALSA bus depot. Highly recommended and value for money. Will definitely return when we visit Burgos again.

Inma the host was super responsive and gave plenty of detailed information and dining recommendations before hand. Our car was registered to drive to the front door for unloading the luggage and everything was taken care of even though the bookingwasmade on the same day a few hours before arrival time. The place is in a superb location opposite the cathedral, nicely decorated and dog friendly with attention to detail. We had trouble turning on the heating but she immediately helped to solve that.

The house is brand-new, clean and comfortable. It was really easy to communicate with Charo, she met us to give us the keys and show us the house, recommended what to visit around the area and provided us with a basket of goodies for breakfast. We stayed for 5 days and she checked halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything; she was really available and approachable. Every little detail was thought of and taken care of. We had most of the meals at the house and we had absolutely everything we needed. The porch was lovely and the area very serene and picturesque. Perfect for a calm holiday and also for hiking and biking, perfect for nature lovers. I cannot stress enough how lovely it was to get back to such a nice clean house, be able to take a shower, cook a meal, have breakfast on the porch, get a good night's sleep, it truly felt like a home.
