The price was below what we would pay for a budget motel in the US. However, this was a 4-star hotel. The breakfast was a full spread of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, smoked salmon, omelets to order and a wide selection of coffees. It was not downtown, but my wife and I love to walk and easily made the 4 km walk into town on a daily basis. Once, we caught the bus which was super convenient, as many bus routes go to the hospital, which is next door to the hotel.

We attended yoga classes in the morning, it was top notch, between trees with sounds of nature… Lots of activities on-site or nearby, family friendly! We highly recommend it!

Hotel SANSEbay is situated in San Sebastián, in the old town, 91 metres from Calle Mayor and 250 metres from Constitución Plaza. I have stayed at SANSEbay Boutique Hotel (Rooms & Apartments available) at the edge of the Old Town and 2 minutes walk to the San Sebastián city hall (main Landmark). My Accommodation for 7 nights, is the fabulous Loft-style Apartment (Modern Loft) which is a large, open space with minimal internal walls and high ceilings with sky windows (70 sq meters). My loft was super comfortable, surely spacious and refreshingly airy. Washing machine & dishwasher are provided. The heating was all underfloor. . Reception is open 7 am - 11 pm Only Breakfast available in the cafeteria (No restaurant). Staff were helpful and courteous. . I definitely recommend this place for your stay. See photos
