Really fantastic breakfast, one of the main reasons why we decided to come back. Good location for walking around town and to most of the attractions of Bilbao. There is parking underneath and the possibility to charge your electric car. Guggenheim museum is as well within walking distance. The staff is really helpful.

Situated in Bilbao, 200 metres from Arriaga Theatre, Hotel Tayko Bilbao was built in 1924. The property is within just 0.2 km of Catedral de Santiago and 15 minutes' walk from Guggenheim Museum. Super clean, well-conceived, practical and beautiful. The staff was beyond nice and friendly. Excellent place, excellent stay! Heating worked perfectly. Everything was amazing. They received our cat with a lot of love and understanding. This is a huge plus that makes the whole difference!

Location is one of the bests in the city as you stay next to Bilbao Museum and access to all of the beautiful streets. It had also amazing restaurant and hall, inside and outside.

Service that goes above and beyond. Cozy rooms in a charming historic building. A well-kept and inviting garden. A lovely family offering warm hospitality. Excellent breakfast! Even when we arrived in the evening, exhausted after a long day on the Camino, the hostess helped us place an order from a Chinese restaurant, and there’s also the option to buy basic groceries for cooking if you have the energy. Just keep in mind that it’s about 2 km off the trail’s starting point, so plan your route accordingly. Highly recommended!
