I’m not sure there’s enough to space to properly express how much we loved Jauri Resort. From the moment we arrived (and found out they had upgraded us for our 11 night stay) we were in love. Firstly, the staff was very communicative even before we arrived. We had to arrange a late check in, which was no problem at all. Once we were settled in to our beautiful cabin we realized Jauri is the best of both worlds. If you’re a traveller who prefers a self-sufficient Airbnb style place - this can be it. You have a kitchen and a private sauna and everything you need for an independent holiday. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked, it’s the perfect little apartment. However, if having a convenient restaurant steps from your door is something you want, they have that too. We enjoyed every meal we ate there. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful and will organize anything you need. Tours can be started from your front door. We happened to stay during a cold snap (sub -35°) and after our little hybrid rental car decided to freeze up the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. They organized a late check out and helped us find the easiest way to the airport. And all of this while being so lovely and friendly. My reviews seldom run this long, but in this case it is necessary. Both my husband and I can 100%, whole heartedly recommend Jauri Resort. We’re already trying to decide when to come visit again. Santa's Little Village - Hotel Uitonniemi está ubicado en Kemijärvi, a 46 km de Suomu Mountain, y ofrece vista al jardín. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratis. Muy lindo, espacioso, calentito. Tienes espacio para tu coche. Queda a 1hs y poco en auto para rovaniemi. Para quedarte aquí te recomendaría tener transporte. El personal muy bien y servicial. Un día que no podíamos acudir al desayuno, nos ofrecieron para llevar!

Very clean apartments with everything you need staying with kids. Even there is was -35 outdoor house was warm and comfortable to live. Very nice fireplace made our stay here so cosy. Location is convenient to reach Ruka ski resort, Rovaniemi, Ranua zoo, Riisitunturi National park. We enjoyed hot sauna and cooling down in snow outside. The best thing was that we saw nothern lights directly from apartments terrace. Amazing!

Holiday Home Järvelä by Interhome ofrece alojamiento en Kemijärvi, a 40 km de Suomu Mountain. La casa ofrece televisión de pantalla plana. La kitchenette está equipada con una heladera. Encantadora cabaña, todo con muy poco uso, prácticamente nuevo, perfectamente climatizada y aislada, muy acogedora y confortable, las fotos hacen justicia a la realidad. Además de la cabaña se dispone de una sauna en una pequeña cabaña aledaña a la principal a la que se accede por un camino de unos 40 mts. . Dispone de otra construcción, junto al lago preparada para barbacoa, junto al muelle que también es privado. El paisaje en esta época del año, todo nevado con unos 50 cmts. de espesor es una maravilla. Pudimos disfrutar de la aurora boreal todas las noches de nuestra estancia (5 noches). Realmente es muy recomendable esta cabaña para disfrutar de las Luces del Norte.

After a long day of travel mishaps, it was exactly what I needed—clean, comfortable, and a warm welcome. 5 stars
