Still reminiscing on how we were pampered in this family-run hotel. Spotless round-the-clock cleaning of both the rooms and the common areas, tons (and I mean tons) of useful appliances for everything you might need: from a covered barbecue area with full family-sized kitchen and sitting space, to the main fully furnished kitchen, lots of free-to-use snorkeling and water sports equipment like kayaks and SUP boards, boiling/warm/cold water dispenser in the room... The common pool is always super well kept up and inviting, very enjoyable despite being a few steps away from the sea, especially if the tide is too low to comfortably swim around the beautiful, extensive coral fields all around the area, or even during rainy days. We stayed in both the villa and the upper-floor room: the (huge) villa is exceptional value for a family, and literally stepping out to jump in the pool or run to the beach is priceless, but being just two we felt cozier in the room which also offered a high vantage point to enjoy the views! The free parking was most welcome, and right opposite the street there is a collection of shops and restaurants that can satisfy most needs, featuring even a spa studio! A short walk away you can also enjoy the street food and horse rides next to the pier. Lots of local attractions a short car drive away are also all around the area (waterfalls, diving spots, nice villages and resort areas, or just random beautiful spots so abundant in Fiji). Sun, Bill and all the staff are extremely helpful, kind and just a joy to be around - you made our honeymoon in your hotel such a highlight, by the end we felt we like were staying with friends. We'll remember it for the rest of our lives thanks to you! And we'll always remember the types of coconuts too ;)

Lini and Robert are lovely hosts! The house is well designed with a kitchen quite modern. The room is clean, spacious, private. I loved the homemade breakfast with eggs and lots of fruits. There are kayaks that you can take on the river.

The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. The staff were attentive and helpful. The downtown area was accessible by taxi. I stayed with my daughter and granddaughter, and the place had everything we needed to feel at home. Having our own laundry machine and private drying space was incredibly convenient, and my granddaughter absolutely loved spending time in the swimming pool. Throughout our stay, I always felt safe and comfortable, especially with the security on the premises. It gave me great peace of mind knowing I could leave in the mornings and return in the evenings without worry. Our hosts, Tina and AJ, were warm, welcoming, and truly wonderful. The staff were also exceptional – especially Peni, who was kind, helpful, and always pleasant. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we would happily return.

You can feel the charm and personality in every corner, yet everything is beautifully maintained and equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need. It’s a place where time slows down in the very best way, inviting you to truly relax and savor every moment whether its in your Burre, by the pool or in the dining/reception areas. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and absolutely spotless. We loved the shower looking out into the jungle....what a unique experience! Every detail has clearly been considered with care and pride. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Friendly, thoughtful, and always ready with a warm smile or helpful suggestion, they made us feel immediately at ease. It’s clear they love what they do, and that joy is infectious. Whether it was remembering a special birthday or going out of their way to recommend local hidden gems, their attention to detail and genuine kindness made our stay unforgettable. Depika and Ledge were exceptional but not only that, every single member of staff from groundsmen to housekeeping to restaurant staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. I cannot recommend the Fiji Orchid highly enough. It is a truly unique and exceptional experience.
