The room decor was wonderfully eclectic, so if you are looking for beige walls go somewhere else. The rooms are in a 15th century building, very spacious and comfortable. If you are staying on an evening where they are offering a table d'hotes do accept. The hosts fixed a fabulous dinner with good conversation for all. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Carmel and Sean are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. You leave feeling like you have known them forever. Couldn't be any better.

This was a lovely 1845 house in a quiet neighborhood just a ten-minute Walk from the center of town (cathedral, town hall, shopping, restaurants). Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Delicious breakfast of fruit from her orchard, eggs from her chickens, and just baked clafouti.

The hosts were friendly but not intrusive and you felt at ease sharing their home. The chateau had been restored to a very high standard, keeping many original features but with some modern additions. Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Other areas of the house were also available for residents to use. The grounds were well tended and nice to stroll around, and outside seating was also present. A fresh and tasty breakfast was provided in a light and airy room and was buffet style. The chateau was located in a quiet location yet was quite close to a main town. Our dog was welcomed :)

Jez and his lovely wife were super accommodating and made us feel super welcome. Also the town and surroundings were wonderful. We are just sorry to find out too late that Jez is also a master chef.
