One of the nicest places we stayed while cycling around France for 9 weeks. Corina provided a lovely stay starting from drinks on arrival, a beautiful room with comfortable bed and pillows, charging stations, air conditioning, bike storage, an evening meal plus a yummy breakfast. Wifi was good too. Couldn’t have asked for more. The ride down the hills the next day was exhilarating.

We stayed here for a night when traveling down to Provence and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the pigeoner (the round tower at the end of the building). Which has 2 floors and a small private garden, perfect if you bring your dog as we did. Franck our host did not disappoint either! He offers a small but perfect dinner menu, served outside your room in the garden which was well appreciated after a long days travel. After a good nights sleep in the carefully and thoughtfully decorated tower, we were served a big and plentiful breakfast in pick-nick baskets place in front of our door to be enjoyed in our little garden outside the room! The highlight of this stay was that our dog had a wonderful time playing with Francks two boxer dogs. To sum up, this is a perfect hidden gem well worth a visit either for a night or even a longer stay.

Maison La Tourelle está ubicado en Baume-les-Dames, a 39 km de Saint-Jean Cathedral Besançon y a 44 km de Besançon Vesoul University. We stayed in a large room/apartment. Fully equipped. Inside of building beautifully decorated and very interesting. Spacious area. Bicycles very secure. Breakfast served in person and great atmosphere with excellent hosts. Would definitely recommend very highly!
