Set in Clermont-Ferrand, 3.9 km from Blaise Pascal University, Grand Mess Clermont-Ferrand offers accommodation with a terrace, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We stayed at Hotel Grand Mess for 2 nights on either side of our road trip to Andorra in October 2025. The hotel is perfectly located, very convenient, and surrounded by loads of places to eat although most open in the evening. Our rooms were fab on both occasions, the breakfast was amazing, fresh and great quality, this felt like a proper french breakfast. The staff were great, we opted to park in the underground car park and paid 10 euro for each night but we could have also parked outside the hotel quite easily as there is ample space on the side too. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back and possibly stay longer too. It was the perfect stop after a 10hr drive from Lichfield, England.

Clean and comfortable, self check-in, 1 minute from the highway, closed and secure parking for your car, a small breakfast gift. Highly recommended – a great place to stay overnight after a long drive.

L'Hotel de France es troba en una antiga fonda situada als afores del centre de Mende, a 2 minuts a peu de la catedral de Mende. Totes les habitacions disposen d'aire condicionat, bany privat i TV. Tenir l'habitació a l'annex, perquè no s'havia de passar pel restaurant de l'hotel. L'habitació era molt correcte.

Aquest hotel del segle XIX està situat al centre de la localitat preciosa de Mont Dore i és el punt de partida ideal per descobrir el massís de Sancy. Beautiful, grand old hotel in the heart of Mont-Dore, perfectly located for walking around downtown. The breakfast was outstanding—eggs, pastries, hot oats, and more (French eggs really are superior!). Our room was lovely, with a full bed and a twin, ideal since I tend to twitch at night. Just note there’s no lift/elevator, which may matter for some travelers.

Set in Saint-Angel and within 22 km of Neuvic d'Ussel Golf Course, Auberge du Prieuré has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The auberge provides everything you need when travelling and the rooms etc have been recently constructed to a very good standard. Breakfast was not provided but croissants etc were obtained from a nearby patisserie to accompany coffee provided in the restaurant adjoining the auberge. Saint Angel was good for an evening stroll.

Featuring a garden, Maison Côté Halle "La chambre du Parc" offers accommodation in Saint-Flour, 45 km from Pas de Peyrol and 27 km from Casino Chaudes Aigues. A really excellent little room, comfortable and clean with lovely attention to detail. The location is perfect, right in the old town. Annick was extremely welcoming and looked after us very well. The breakfast, partly homemade, was a lovely feature. It also made a big difference to have a private off-road car parking space. All in all, highly recommended.

Located in Saint-Georges, 28 km from Aurillac Congress Centre, Caldera hébergement et activités d'altitude provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Everything & Everyone - including the access to the communal kitchen with lovely plate ware you’d only find in the most lovely of restaurants, undoubtedly sourced from local artisans.

Set in Lezoux, 26 km from Zénith d'Auvergne, Château de Codignat offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Stunning accommodation. Huge rooms, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was great.

Offering garden views, La Villa des Sources is an accommodation located in Langogne, 42 km from Pierre Cardinal Center and 42 km from Le Puy Cathedral. we had dinner there in with the other guests and pleasant conversation with fellow travellers and our host Roman. Fab area, to stay in and travel through.

Good and clean apartment, located in a quiet place, close to main attractions. Secured parking just across the street. Everything was good.
