The owner was lovely the property was super value and ticked all of our boxes for a stop over from England to Paris . We were up in the converted attic with a bedroom with en-suite facilities and a separate bedroom that joined onto our room so we were all together but enough privacy . The owner was either downstairs or off site in the adjoining property? . We don’t know as we never heard her anyway , her English was not brilliant but we got by with my poor French and Google translate . We never heard our hosts during the night or in the morning when we awoke to beautiful table full of a perfect continental breakfast with a great choice . After a lovely nights rest in comfortable beds . A shower in the morning In the unusual shower in the converted attic was a little difficult as the door didn’t close 100% that is the only negative thing but was perfectly adequate for a quick stop over . This was a perfect start to our holiday and I can’t thank the hosts enough for welcoming us so well . I really hope we get chance to go back again . The garden looked lovely and Joseane explained she did it all herself , Wow . An amazing woman . Merci .

Objekt Le Manoir de la belle epoque u gradu 'Béthencourt-sur-Mer' nudi pogled na vrt, vanjski bazen, vrt, terasu, bar i opremu za roštilj. Such a beautiful home in very pretty setting. Excellent hosts who went the extra mile to help us. Even booked us in to a local restaurant for the evening. Interesting area to visit the coast with an ancient funicular tram up the chalk coastal cliffs.

We could not have wished for a better stay at the end of our vacation. Alexia and Adrien were wonderfully warm and kind hosts, who make guests feel at home. We loved the very generous and relaxing breakfast each morning around the large dining table, chatting with other guests (there were also a couple of smaller tables available). We also made use of a very comfortable guest lounge, with guides and other books. The chateau, furnishings and design are stunning! Our bedroom (and adjoining bathroom) was one of the best we have stayed in, with a very comfortable bed. We were also encouraged to share the large and beautiful garden, where we had a welcome drink from Alexia. The chateau is very well located for travel to/from Calais, and there is plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Le Touquet. Excellent suggestions for restaurants from Alexia. The apartment was very light and extremely clean. The was a little garden with a view over the marshland. The kitchen was really well equipped, there was even a crab claw cracker for the local crab we bought for dinner and an oyster knife. The apartment was also dog friendly - a pet bowl was supplied. The host was very friendly on arrival.
