The hotel is in a small, quiet village but the local museum of history and art is across the road. The restaurant in the hotel seems to be the only one in the vicinity but it’s excellent and the service is great. Our room was nicely appointed and very clean with comfy beds. Good location for visiting the attractions in the area but you’ll be best to do this via car. Also the staff are very friendly and are happy to help.

Lovely and bright/ quiet at night/ great terrace/ lots of little touches to make it welcoming and easy to use / very clean/ great shower.

The apartment was very clean, great located and was nicely prepared for our stay. Even mini bar was such a nice touch! We felt very warm welcomed!

Le gîte du Sorcier 89 is gelegen in Avallon, op 16 km van basiliek Sainte-Marie-Madeleine van Vézelay en 43 km van Pré Lamy Golf Course, in een omgeving waar je kunt wandelen. What an amazing find. This Harry Potter themed apartment was just oozing with character. It kept us all so entertained looking at all the little bits and bobs. So much thought and attention to detail has gone into every piece in the property. The beds were so comfortable, the apartment is really spacious with everything you need and the bathroom all brand new and beautifully done. In fact the whole place is finished to an excellent standard. Avallon is a beautiful place too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We only wish we were there longer. Marco & Marine are wonderful hosts - very friendly and provided all the information I needed. We highly recommend this fabulous place.
