The location is perfect – just a minute from the lake and surrounded by the sweetest little shops in magical Keswick. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was simply fantastic – a high-quality menu with delicious options made to order, plus drinks and homemade granola. Truly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel! Our room was gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated, and every day we were treated to fresh homemade cookies waiting for us – such a lovely touch. There’s also private parking which is very convenient. We honestly enjoyed every single moment and didn’t want to leave. We travel a lot, and this is by far our favorite hotel. We will definitely be back!

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The staff was very friendly. He helped us to take the luggage to upstairs. The breakfast is delicious.

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Great location, and a very nice property. Great breakfast. Great staff. Would stay here again in a second.

Your perfect lakes escape begins here, at our family-run hotel situated in the bustling village of Braithwaite. Very beautiful hotel with a nice view. The room was very clean, probably one of the cleanest hotels we've come across. Nice big and comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The staff was pleasant and approachable and we really enjoyed our stay.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The location of the guest house, was great, not too far from station and not too far from the city centre. Great transport links both ways and also loads of walking paths to take around

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Professional team who get you to your room quick and efficient. The rooms are simple but modern, spacious and clean. What a pleasure. Onsite parking an absolute bonus.
