Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The staff was very friendly. He helped us to take the luggage to upstairs. The breakfast is delicious.

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. Our stay at Glencree absolutely exceeded our expectations! The room was gorgeous, very modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a selection of cereals to choose from, fresh fruit and breakfast cooked to order. Great location, and lots of parking in the church across the road if the guest spots are taken. Would highly recommend Glencree to anyone looking for a stay in Windermere.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip.
