The hotel is beautifully designed, cozy, and full of charm. The location is perfect – just a minute from the lake and surrounded by the sweetest little shops in magical Keswick. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was simply fantastic – a high-quality menu with delicious options made to order, plus drinks and homemade granola. Truly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel! Our room was gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated, and every day we were treated to fresh homemade cookies waiting for us – such a lovely touch. There’s also private parking which is very convenient. We honestly enjoyed every single moment and didn’t want to leave. We travel a lot, and this is by far our favorite hotel. We will definitely be back!

It was our stopover between England and Scotland, and it didn't disappoint. Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

Victorian House ligt in Grasmere, op 12 km van Windermere. Het biedt beperkte parkeergelegenheid en wordt aangeboden op basis van wie het eerst komt, het eerst maalt. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in de hut. Heerlijk rustig achter in de tuin aan een kabbelend beekje waar je ook fijn kunt zitten bij een vuurtje. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker, restaurants en kleine supermarkt naast de deur. Mooie wandeling naar Easdale tarn meteen om de hoek.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Location, our room was comfortable, shower wonderful. Great breakfast and staff friendly. We’ve been here before and will return again
