Bare 30 kilometer fra Thirlwall Castle og 36 kilometer fra Brougham Castle ligger Ashleigh House, som tilbyr overnatting i Carlisle. Leeanne, the owner made sure everything was great. Up to and including carrying my bag up to my room. Breakfast was relaxed and filled my needs.

I Keswick, 2,9 kilometer fra Derwentwater, ligger Fellpack House, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Nydelig frokost, meget hyggelig personale, god seng, vakkert rom med herlig utsikt. Elsket dette hotellet:)

Red Dragon Inn ligger i Kirkby Lonsdale, med Trough of Bowland bare 28 kilometer unna. Overnattingsstedet har en restaurant, røykfrie rom, gratis WiFi og en bar. Veldig hyggelig "pub-hotell" med fine rom og hyggelig personale. Ligger veldig sentralt i en nydelig by. Dette var en fin opplevelse.

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. Everything was excellent , the setting and proximity to the town. The room and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Breakfast was first class. A very enjoyable experience and will stay again next year when in the area

The room was very clean, probably one of the cleanest hotels we've come across. Nice big and comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The staff was pleasant and approachable and we really enjoyed our stay.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip.
