Bare 30 kilometer fra Thirlwall Castle og 36 kilometer fra Brougham Castle ligger Ashleigh House, som tilbyr overnatting i Carlisle. Close to train station and the host was excellent. Very friendly and extremely clean and comfy accommodation. Nice cooked breakfast included too.

I Keswick, 2,9 kilometer fra Derwentwater, ligger Fellpack House, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Nydelig frokost, meget hyggelig personale, god seng, vakkert rom med herlig utsikt. Elsket dette hotellet:)

Red Dragon Inn ligger i Kirkby Lonsdale, med Trough of Bowland bare 28 kilometer unna. Overnattingsstedet har en restaurant, røykfrie rom, gratis WiFi og en bar. Great breakfast, lovely evening meal and friendly staff. Room a nice size, it’s our 5th stay so must be good!

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Helt fantastisk sted med så nydelig personale💃💃💃💃🕺🕺💖Vi fikk et flott rom i 1 etasje og frokosten var hærlig 👍deilig stooor seng,koslig hus og det var små kaker i foajeen på kvelden 😋vi kunne også hatt med hunden vår,men hun var hjemme🐾Elsket det stedet,virkelig å anbefale 😘

The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip.
