I Keswick, 2,9 kilometer fra Derwentwater, ligger Fellpack House, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Perfect location. Beautiful decor. Lovely little bar. Delicious breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this property.

It was our stopover between England and Scotland, and it didn't disappoint. Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. This is a self service situation without staff in house but it did feel like we were living in our own grand house. So it was something different. The rooms were comfortable, clean and great tv and coffee facilities. Great location too in the centre of town. 10/10

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Breakfast is amazing, with a-la-carte eggs, and buffet with yogurt parfaits, breads, and other snacks. Beautiful dining room. On-site parking is an authentic local experience, but much appreciated. Staff were really wonderful and helpful. After-hours check in was flawless.

Set in 14 acres of landscaped grounds next to Furness Abbey, Abbey House Hotel offers luxurious rooms with historic features. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and free on-site parking. Was nice but with limited options. Still it was manageable.
