Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The staff was very friendly. He helped us to take the luggage to upstairs. The breakfast is delicious.

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Beautifully decorated. The hotel had recently been updated and it was very nicely done. Extremely helpful staff members;

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. We really enjoyed our stay here, Shiralee made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived.. she also cooks a delicious English breakfast!! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. Very convenient location - next to the stunning Hope Park, town centre of Keswick and also to the Derwentwater Lake, allowing easy access to do a walk around the lake.
