The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Beautifully decorated. The hotel had recently been updated and it was very nicely done. Extremely helpful staff members;

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Lovely big room. Very convenient parking. Extremely nice staff. Excellent breakfast.

Nastanitev Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa se nahaja v mestu Ambleside, 9,1 km od znamenitosti tematski park World of Beatrix Potter, in ponuja fitnes, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor... A perfect hotel to stay while visiting the Lake district. Location of the hotel is in the centre of town. We had a very comfortable suite, service was excellent, very nice Spa and very good restaurant with super friendly waiters. All together we had wonderful stay and plan to get back in the future.
