The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. We arrived early and the lady said if we came about 1pm we could have the afternoon tea and the rooms would probably be available. The hotel is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. We were also very kindly upgraded . We had dinner that evening in the sister hotel The Inn at Grassmere, very nice bar food. Weather was atrocious on way home, so we sat in the lounge in Bridge house with a drink . What I also liked about the Bridge house hotel was that it is Adult only and Dog free. Don't get me wrong I like animals but not in hotel's and while I am eating. It is very hard to find hotels these days a especially in the lake district that are dog free. Bathroom was large, lovely large fluffy towels. Great shower. Breakfast next morning was delicious and very filling. We were able to leave our car in the carpark while we did a quick walk around the village. It's definitely on my list to return and to recommend.

Güzel Lakeland çevresinde cennet gibi bir dereye bakan Glencree, Bowness ve Windermere köyleri arasında yer almaktadır. The room was spacious and had a very good view of a small stream. The amenities were excellent. The bathroom fittings are exceptional and modern which are not a common sighting in Europe. The place is at walking distance from the railway station and the main market area. The host, Ian, is very friendly.

Your perfect lakes escape begins here, at our family-run hotel situated in the bustling village of Braithwaite. The room is clean. The breakfast is superb. The price is of great value. The restaurant offers also nice food for lunch and dinner. Dessert is a delight. The location is slightly away from the crowd but still very accessible to most attractions around. It’s definitely our choice when we’ll do a similar trip in the future.

Set in the village of Bowness, Latimer House Guest House offers 4-star accommodation with views of its surrounding gardens and of the village. The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. Barely a 5 minute walk down to the lakeside, with plenty bars and food places to choose from nearby

Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Great location, stunning views. Beautiful building and gorgeous, friendly staff

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. We loved our stay here!! We were very well welcomed. Beautiful warm rooms with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Super great location.

Ambleside şehrinde, The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction noktasına 9,1 km mesafede yer alan Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa tesisi fitness merkezi, ücretsiz özel park yeri, ortak oturma alanı ve... The Staff are so Friendly. The room was a good size at the front. Loved the pool area and outside Jacuzzi which I only just learned was hot!!! Food Amazing. Love Manuel! He rec my haddock brekkie and was perfect. Comfy lounge bar.Booked again for December!!!
