Situated in Henley on Thames and only 22 km from Cliveden House, Period Henley 2 bed apt with parking for 1 car features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. This apartment was perfectly located for all the restaurants and sites of Henley. It was very clean and comfortable for our family of four with everything we needed in the Kitchen to cook and enjoy the space. Sian is an excellent host, who went over and beyond to assist us during our stay. Can highly recommend.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Melrose cottage is located in Goring, 30 km from Newbury Racecourse and 32 km from University of Oxford. It was great to be in this real bed and breakfast offered by Rose, and our rooms made us feel right at home. The opportunity to sit in her large back yard was much appreciated. Even more so, we were so impressed by both the full English and continental breakfast she offered us. We used the packed lunch option she offered, and were not disappointed. Rose was an excellent host all round.

Located in Whipsnade, 18 km from Woburn Abbey, Old Hunters Lodge Whipsnade Limited provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We stayed overnight at Old Hunters Lodge as it was close to Whipsnade Zoo and we wanted an early start at the zoo the next morning. The property was perfectly located for that, it was easy to get a cab from Luton Station to the location. The hotel itself was lovely, the room was charming. While it was a little loud being under the flight path for luton, we both managed to sleep with our headphones on and we are light sleepers. The staff were exceptional, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Prior to my stay I received a message from Louise and John asking if I wanted to book a table for dinner as we were arriving on Valentine’s Day and it would be busy. I really appreciated them taking that step to ensure we would have a table for dinner on the night we arrived. Dinner was lovely, I was a bit nervous as I am allergic to mushrooms and most of the valentines menu included mushrooms but they made sure my main didn’t include mushrooms. The portions were massive and the food was very good. Breakfast the next morning was also very good and fast, there were lots of options for cooked breakfast as well as juice and cereal for self service and hot drinks from the bar. Overall this was a great stay and I could easily see myself coming back.

Natalie and Ray were exceptional hosts who were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The breakfast menu was superb and the homemade marmalade was, without a doubt delicious. If you have the chance to visit and stay, you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much...you have set the bar sooo high for the rest of our trip around the UK.
