Superb location and friendly, helpful staff. It is located in a quiet, peaceful area and just a short walk to the city center and train station. The breakfast was also very good. Caroline even prepared gluten free toast and sausage for me - very kind!

A traditional Yorkshire inn with oak beams and roaring log fires, the Wellington Inn is situated in the village of Darley. An absolutely brilliant hotel to stay in. Starting from the arrival, to the visit in the restaurant and the visit to the bar, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was simply superb. Beds were comfortable and it was ideal for us as we were touring by motorbike. Safe free parking was also a big bonus for us.

Set on York’s Clifton Road, Burton Stone Inn offers free WiFi access and 1 guaranteed parking space per room for all guests. Everything was perfect, starting with the staff -many thanks to George😊-continuing with the room (absolutelly lovely), facilities and the perfect location of the inn in a very nice and quite area (very close to the center and at the same time to the train station). As an extra, the bar was wonderfully decorated for Christmas.
