The Breakfast was simply "FAB" , we had a warm welcome by Christina, she was simply great, the check in process was smooth, the rooms were located on the 1st floor so we had to drag our bags on top which was ok too...Location its pretty much near to the city centre, and also the train station, its a good walk of 10-12 mins away from the train station otherwise with luggage then it may take 15 mins...Christina was very informative and very Helpful at the same time, looking forward staying there again, also if you are a vegetarian its good to inform well in advance ...Overall it was a Great and a Comfortable stay.

The location was great! A very short walk to the beach, a small tesco a few steps away and the local bus stop right outside the property.

A traditional Yorkshire inn with oak beams and roaring log fires, the Wellington Inn is situated in the village of Darley. An absolutely brilliant hotel to stay in. Starting from the arrival, to the visit in the restaurant and the visit to the bar, staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was simply superb. Beds were comfortable and it was ideal for us as we were touring by motorbike. Safe free parking was also a big bonus for us.

Set on York’s Clifton Road, Burton Stone Inn offers free WiFi access and 1 guaranteed parking space per room for all guests. The owners, Michal and Gaby, are very friendly and welcoming and very accommodating. They make you feel at home straight from the start. They know a lot about York and North Yorkshire and have provided us with very useful information about what there is to see and also which restaurants to go to. The B&B is strategically situated on the road near the town centre, at less than 10 minute’s walk. We had a lovely room with an en suite on the first floor at the front. The beds are made up daily, the bathroom is cleaned daily, it is all very clean. The pub downstairs is a hub for the locals and the guests, friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is very good, English and continental. We certainly recommend the Burton Stone Inn!

Located in the town of Boroughbridge, the historic Grantham Arms offers bedrooms just 5 km from Staveley Nature Reserve and Newby Hall & Gardens. I was staying alone to break up a long drive south and this was such a nice surprise. Really gorgeous room with so many nice touches and incredibly comfortable. So much character too. The breakfast was also great and all the staff really friendly. A really cool place to stay. Also, even though it’s a pub with rooms it didn’t feel like that. Everything was hotel quality, spotlessly clean and a lot of effort has gone into the rooms so they feel really special.
