We had the family apartment, which had complete privacy with a separate entrance and terrace on the corner of the building. That added to our feeling of comfort and even luxury, on top of the overall location of the hotel which is perched on the hillside overlooking the sea. Overall, the rooms and the hotel were in an excellent condition and some aspects seemed freshly renewed (like mosquito nets at the windows and the window shutters - essential in that climate). The hotel is however not a luxury 5 star residence. It does not have a swimming pool or staff serving you on your deck chair. But we were looking for a quiet, serene location where we could unwind and enjoy the sea and nature around us, and that is exactly what we got. A quiet beach was within short walking distance and the two tavernas of the hamlet were all we needed for dinners. There is also a nice hiking trail starting right underneath the hotel, leading to the light house at the top north cape of the island and to another beach. For the rest, a car is needed to reach out to other parts of the island, as there is no public transport available. The staff was friendly and helpful, though we did not interact much since we had our private space and did not really need much. However, whenever we requested something - like clothes hangers that were missing in the wardrobe, we got assisted right away. Moreover, Dina at the reception went out of her way to send us to Belgium the smartwatch that our daughter forgot in the room. The cleaning staff found it and Dina alerted us even before our daughter realised she missed it. That was really appreciated and certainly not quite the standard. (My husband forgot last year his e-reader in a big fancy hotel, but nobody bothered to help us find it.) Overall, we loved the island, which has a very good mixture of nature, historical sites and beaches, with good tourism infrastructure without being overly crowded. We're sure to go back.

Terletak 2,7 km dari Pantai Kiriakoulou, Emmanouil menawarkan akomodasi ber-AC dengan balkon dan WiFi gratis. Emmanouils place was just what we needed! The property is a short drive from the town of Kapsali and Kythira and one of the best beaches we went to on this trip - Chalkos. The property was wonderfully quiet and very spacious. Large room and balcony gave us plenty of room to rest and recharge. The owners are friendly and welcoming.

The property was in a very nice village in the center of the island which makes all of the destinations equal in distance. Also Danai our housekeeper was amazing and very helpful

Well sized apartment for two with inside and outside living.Easy walk down to Agia Pellagi. Responsive owner and good cleaner.. Not necessarily appreciated is the shade on the terrace, which in summer is necessary. In Agia Pelagia with two good shops for groceries and our favourite vege shop.

Sirene Villas terletak di Diakofti, 1,5 km dari Pelabuhan Kythira Diakofti. Wi-Fi gratis dapat diakses di seluruh area akomodasi. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. The owners are the kindest family, they accommodated both an early check in and a late check out on our day of departure for no extra charge. Plus, they provided our 3 year old with a little medicinal cream to treat a mosquito bite, and treated us like their own family. Oh and breakfast in the morning was delicious, worth the value hands down! Comfy beds and a wonderfully refreshing pool.
