Ollie was exceptionally kind and well connected to get us help with transportation. She is also a great cook. Don Luis was the taxi driver that she connected is with. He is a very honest man. He drove back to the facility to return my phone and charger that I left in the taxi. Funds from this place go to support underprivileged individuals attain working skills.

The staff service is amazing—very kind, very honest, and they do everything they can to accommodate your needs. They strive to do their best for the guests. From the kitchen staff to the waiters, bartenders, and boat captains, the service is excellent. I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. Ubytovanie Hostal Blood Moon sa nachádza v destinácii Rio Dulce 4,9 km od miesta Castillo de San Felipe de Lara. Beautiful space, I could have easily spent a longer time. The kitchen area is spacious and overall everything feels nice and airy. Flor, the host, is very kind. She was awake to let me in when I arrived past midnight, made us all pancakes and coffee in the morning, and let me keep my stuff for a few hours after check out.

Never mind staying directly on the lake, this is is located along a tributary and it is so beyond peaceful! + The staff are SO friendly and really want to make your stay the best! + Free pick up and drop off via boat at specific times (I had to leave at 6am, so had to pay 50Q, but I expected this). + I stayed in the private double with en-suite. It’s located away from the main building, so peaceful, and the bed was super comfy + Expected tonnes of mosquitos, but actually it wasn’t too bad at all, just bring repellent

Excellent wooden cabin room, very cozy and comfortable, enough space and amenities. Location is fantastic and feels very much like part of the jungle. There's even a crocodile in the creek flowing through the finca and joining Rio Dulce. The hotel has its own landing and you can do a great boat trip down to Livingston or up to the lake. Very reasonable price for a great lodging experience. Stayed an extra night!
