The whole property is in a beautiful garden surrounded by lush jungle. It's the perfect place to stay to visit Tikal and Yaxha Temples and to explore Lake Peten Itza. Highly recommend staying here.

Situated on the seafront in Flores and boasting a private beach area, Posada Don Julio has free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Lesbia and Julio are very warm and welcoming hosts. They made me feel like at home, we had nice conversations and it was a great pleasure to stay with them for some days. My room was huge with a big balcony directly above the water - very cool! The location is not in the Flores Island but in San Miguel - so if you search for a calmer non touristic area that's your choice! From Flores it is easy to arrive with a small boat in about 5 mins. Also recommended to book the tour to Tikal etc. and transports with them, they offer for a good price. And it is helpful to know some Spanish as their English is limited (but Julio is learning!) 😊 muchas gracias 🥰

Situated in El Remate, 37 km from Tikal National Park, Hotel Gringo Perdido features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The fact that is surrounded by nature. #Beautiful. There are many cozy beautiful places to relax, some within the lake and some within the infrastructure. We were able to get LOTs of beautiful pictures 📸 They also have a big library with books from different themes to pick from. English/Spanish some French and some Italian. Breakfast and Dinner is included, you get what is cooked. From our point if view, healthy and delicious. It goes from entries all the way to dessert. They also have filtered water, tea and coffee available all day, self-serving. Rooms are right in front of the lake so you have a great view. You hear the sound of the water, the monkeys and the birds. If you love nature like us, this is a great place to stay. It has kayaks for rent and free to use inflatables to relax in the lake. The swimming pool is also nice! All very clean! Staff is friendly. They can help you arrange transportation and other different cool tours.

You feel like at home or visiting a friend's home. The room and the kitchen area are very clean. El Remate is a small friendly village close to the lake. You have good restaurants where they serve good mayan food. It is close to Mayan archaeological sites. After your daily excursions you can relax at the hamaks of the sun breeze hotel.

Set in El Remate, 34 km from Tikal National Park, Guest house Posada Ixchel offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. On the main street but fairly quiet and calm. Amazing rooms, and really good price.

Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the... The Guatemalan man who works there is incredible. I wish I had caught his name. He was so nice and helpful during our short stay there. A very peaceful hotel with views of the water and a lush garden. I didn't see any toucans but my partner saw one perched next to one of the rooms in the morning. We had the traditional dinner with eggs, fried plantains, beans, cheese, toast and fruit- it was delicious! We had the same for breakfast and it was the perfect meal to get us through Tikal. The prices for the room and the food was all reasonable. There is an extra charge to use AC but that's across the board in the area. Highly recommend!

This place is so beautiful and relaxing that it's hard to even put the experience into words. The attention to detail is truly remarkable. Inside the room, you'll find everything you need and even more. A funicular takes you down to the private marina, where you can enjoy paddle boarding or simply jump into the lake for a refreshing swim. The temazcal sauna was an unforgettable experience; deeply relaxing and unique. I’d especially like to thank the staff for making my birthday so special with thoughtful room decorations and a surprise cake. Every moment here was filled with care and magic.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Bolontiku Boutique Hotel Member of the Cayuga Collection is located 15 minutes by boat from Flores Island. A wonderful hotel !!! All was great : the mini suite with wiew on the lake is incredible, the restaurant great, the stuff really nice but the best is to swim in the lake!!!
