Situated on the seafront in Flores and boasting a private beach area, Posada Don Julio has free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Beautiful stay! Had such a wonderful time! Lesbia was fantastic and made sure we were looked after. The room was spacious, clean and had a cute balcony looking at the water as well as a great kitchen seperate from the room - the boats to get across to the accom were super straight forward as well. Highly recommend this stay 😊

We were able to get LOTs of beautiful pictures 📸 They also have a big library with books from different themes to pick from. English/Spanish some French and some Italian. Breakfast and Dinner is included, you get what is cooked. From our point if view, healthy and delicious. It goes from entries all the way to dessert. They also have filtered water, tea and coffee available all day, self-serving. Rooms are right in front of the lake so you have a great view. You hear the sound of the water, the monkeys and the birds. If you love nature like us, this is a great place to stay. It has kayaks for rent and free to use inflatables to relax in the lake. The swimming pool is also nice! All very clean! Staff is friendly. They can help you arrange transportation and other different cool tours.

Set in El Remate, 35 km from Tikal National Park, Posada del Cerro offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The place is away from the village in a lush greenery and we loved it! Service was super friendly and fast. They even helped us with the transfer to Tikal and back. Our double room was simple but big, with a big terrace with chairs and a hammock to relax and enjoy the greenery / to read etc. Bed was comfortable and had a decent mosquito net. They have a decent menu so we seldom ate breakfast there or had some drinks. The hotel is a walking distance from El Remate so we also walked to visit some restaurants or tienda for some snacks when we wanted to. My favourite thing for sure was the fact it's a little away and in the greenery, little hidden gem. Because it's close to the bioreserve, it was wonderful to hear the sounds of nature and especially have our first experience with howler monkeys howling 🙂 I would recommend it for sure.

Offering a sun terrace with swimming pool, views of the Exequil Lagoon, a heliport and wooden décor, this boutique hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Mundo Maya International Airport. Beautiful hotel. Brilliant, faultless service. Fabulous Rooms with private hot tubs overlooking the lake. Food not amazing, but above average. The french toast was fantastic at breakfast. Incredible setting in the jungle. The little museum is fascinating. The included Monkey tour was a highlight and should not be missed!
