Erick is easy to deal with and welcoming, and so is his wife/girlfriend. The location is a little out of the way, but a tuk tuk is only 30qtz to the main strip

The room is in a peaceful location. Amazing views from the terrace adjoining the room. Lovely hammock to relax in. The host is friendly welcoming and helpful. The whole property is in a beautiful garden surrounded by lush jungle. It's the perfect place to stay to visit Tikal and Yaxha Temples and to explore Lake Peten Itza. Highly recommend staying here.

Lesbia and Julio are very warm and welcoming hosts. They made me feel like at home, we had nice conversations and it was a great pleasure to stay with them for some days. My room was huge with a big balcony directly above the water - very cool! The location is not in the Flores Island but in San Miguel - so if you search for a calmer non touristic area that's your choice! From Flores it is easy to arrive with a small boat in about 5 mins. Also recommended to book the tour to Tikal etc. and transports with them, they offer for a good price. And it is helpful to know some Spanish as their English is limited (but Julio is learning!) 😊 muchas gracias 🥰

There are many cozy beautiful places to relax, some within the lake and some within the infrastructure. We were able to get LOTs of beautiful pictures 📸 They also have a big library with books from different themes to pick from. English/Spanish some French and some Italian. Breakfast and Dinner is included, you get what is cooked. From our point if view, healthy and delicious. It goes from entries all the way to dessert. They also have filtered water, tea and coffee available all day, self-serving. Rooms are right in front of the lake so you have a great view. You hear the sound of the water, the monkeys and the birds. If you love nature like us, this is a great place to stay. It has kayaks for rent and free to use inflatables to relax in the lake. The swimming pool is also nice! All very clean! Staff is friendly. They can help you arrange transportation and other different cool tours.

Amazing quality for the price/ area. 100% recommend on the way to Tikal. Parking area had no height restriction for my van either which was great 👌

Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the... The team at Zapote Tree was fantastic: Erick and Noé are so caring and helpful, and provided us with lots of tips and support. The room was comfortable, the view from the different terraces beautiful, and we even got to go explore the peninsula with Mogli, the hotel’s dog! 100% recommend staying here to stay on the calmer, more authentic side of Flores!
