Everything is just nice. We loved the atmosphere! The people that run the place are all so very nice. They always smile at you and are extremely friendly. So far the best place we stayed in Central America. We ca only recommend this place.

In the Rio Dulce river near a 16th century castle the Tortugal Boutique River Lodge peninsula is bathed by almost constant on shore breezes providing a cool and refreshing place. The location was stunning and the staff (especially Angela) super friendly. The food was very delicious!

Hostal Blood Moon is situated in Rio Dulce and has a plunge pool and pool views. This guest house features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. It was like a special treat. Cosy, sweet & cheap.
