In the Rio Dulce river near a 16th century castle the Tortugal Boutique River Lodge peninsula is bathed by almost constant on shore breezes providing a cool and refreshing place. Great stay at Tortugal!!! Really nice room, great shower, good breakfast and food. And finallly Angela and the rest of the staff are amazing! Definitely the place to stay if in Rio Dulce

I have no words to describe the entire experience I had at this place. Simply wonderful. The staff service is amazing—very kind, very honest, and they do everything they can to accommodate your needs. They strive to do their best for the guests. From the kitchen staff to the waiters, bartenders, and boat captains, the service is excellent. I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. Comfortable beds -only downside there are no lockers Fully equipped kitchen.. Short 10 min walk back to big supermarket.and ATM's and the boat dock. Also the ticket office for the boat for Livingston or shuttle buses are just at the side of the supermarket

Good food available there. We loved it and would definitely come back!

Nanajuana Río Dulce has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Río Dulce. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge, a garden and barbecue facilities.... Lovely pool. Helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful place. Food and cocktails very good though quite expensive.
