Boatique Hotel and Marina features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Rio Dulce. 6.7 km from Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, the hostel provides a bar and water sports facilities. Boatique was an incredible place to relax. The staff were very friendly and worked hard to maintain the property. They offer scheduled boat rides to/from town for free if you need. The dorm room was very comfortable and the shared bathrooms were spacious and very clean. There was a wide variety of food on the menu to choose from

In the Rio Dulce river near a 16th century castle the Tortugal Boutique River Lodge peninsula is bathed by almost constant on shore breezes providing a cool and refreshing place. Staff really catered to our needs and gave us local suggestions and instructions. It felt like a personalized experience. I will definitely stay here again.

Casa Caribe Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and shared lounge in Rio Dulce. Wonderful hotel right on the waterfront with a view of the castle. The building is very nice and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. Enrique is the best. The menu is simple but suitable for a few days. Rio Dulce is a 5-minute boat ride away. The sunset is amazing.

Very accommodating and helpful! Included complimentary simple breakfast - pancakes, banana, and coffee freshly made. I arrived with a car so needed a parking space. The parking was available. No issues there. Bed was comfy and clean.

Situated in Rio Dulce, 5.5 km from Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, Hotel Real del Rio features views of the pool. Nice staff and room! It is noisy die to the road but if you live in the city it is the same amount of noise. We were so tired from our trip from Mexico city and went straight to Rio dulce it was easy for us to fall a sleep Also pick up (collectivo/public boat) from the hotel to Livingstone and other river lodges

Away from the city crowds. Great if you want to experience somewhere peaceful and quiet. Can only be reached by boat. The hotel provides complimentary boat transfer upon check-in and check-out. Staff was fantastic, especially Ronaldo. He was able to speak English and helped me arrange a boat tour as well as a shuttle to my next destination.

Cannot fault a thing. The lodge is beautiful. The service outstanding. The price is right for the area and location. We experienced the worst storm they had in 12 years. Rain, wind leaves and branches flying everywhere at the start of dinner service. The staff did a great job at keeping calm and functioning under pressure. They even cleaned in no time no had dinner served for everyone after the worst was over, I was more then impressed as this was going above and beyond

Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge, a garden and barbecue facilities.... The grounds are beautiful. The staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant was good. The rooms are large. Great location!

It’s in really good location. Very close to Castillo San Felipe and on the edge of Rio Dulce. It has complimentary kayaking and you can swim if you want to. It has two big pools, one for kids and the other for adults. The restaurant has a nice view of the lake and it has great food and a variety of options for everyone. The room is clean and comfortable with air conditioning.

Situated right on the water, this hotel offered a beautiful restaurant, hammocks to relax in, and the breeze off the water was wonderful. The room was very clean, the shower had good hot water and pressure.
