Everything! It was just picture perfect. It is peacefull. And oh try the shrimps in a pina-colada sauce, or the budda bowl....! I could go on. It is a gorgeous place tucked away in an idyllic creek.

Casa Caribe Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and shared lounge in Rio Dulce. I have no words to describe the entire experience I had at this place. Simply wonderful. The staff service is amazing—very kind, very honest, and they do everything they can to accommodate your needs. They strive to do their best for the guests. From the kitchen staff to the waiters, bartenders, and boat captains, the service is excellent. I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. Hostal Blood Moon is situated in Rio Dulce and has a plunge pool and pool views. This guest house features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Friendly, clean, good beds. Good communication, we arrived late and that was no problem.

Never mind staying directly on the lake, this is is located along a tributary and it is so beyond peaceful! + The staff are SO friendly and really want to make your stay the best! + Free pick up and drop off via boat at specific times (I had to leave at 6am, so had to pay 50Q, but I expected this). + I stayed in the private double with en-suite. It’s located away from the main building, so peaceful, and the bed was super comfy + Expected tonnes of mosquitos, but actually it wasn’t too bad at all, just bring repellent

Situated right on the water, this hotel offered a beautiful restaurant, hammocks to relax in, and the breeze off the water was wonderful. The room was very clean, the shower had good hot water and pressure.
