It has the most beautiful location set amongst the jungle and waterways of Rio Dulce, the rooms are accessed by a boardwalk and there is a beautiful pool for cooling off on hot days. They have developed so many lovely places to sit and relax listening to the jungle sounds or birdsong and even a small area with yoga mats to do some exercise. The dining area is a large open plan open sided platform with tables to share with other guests or to eat on your own if you prefer. The food is prepared fresh and is simple but delicious. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom and doors onto a small balcony overlooking the rest of the resort. The staff were all so lovely and especially Freddie who gave us all the information we needed for the trip we booked and ferried us back and forth to Rio Dulce Town. We absolutely loved Boatique and recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet in a beautiful setting.

I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. The hotel is on a peaceful part of the river. The rooms are rustic but nicely done and very clean. We were worried about not having air conditioning but the fan worked well and we slept great. It cools down considerably at night. Shower has hot water and was better thanks shower in Flores. Free pick up and drop off in Rio Dulce with good communication. Meals were excellent and well priced. We used their tour to go up the lake to Livingstone and it was a highlight of our trip. We also rented a kayak to paddle across to the castle and along the river.The owners are very nice and helpful. If you are debating about staying here versus either Rio Dulce or Livingston, we definitely recommend Kangaroo. The towns are not nice to stay in.

They offer lots of extra things to do, hiking, kayaking trip, etc. There were so many wildlife opportunities including turtles, crocodiles, snakes, birds, monkeys..so much more! The accommodations were excellent and the food was tasty!!

We booked this hotel as we were driving to our destination. I called and asked if they would let us check in at midnight and they were happy to have us. When we arrived, they greeted us, showed us to our room, and said we could deal with the paperwork in the morning. When we woke up in the morning, I was astounded by their beautiful location, tranquility around the river, and excellent restaurant. The paperwork was fast and we had a delicious meal before continuing on our journey.I wish we had more time to enjoy their pool and riverfront views.
