He connected us with his cousin who gave us a great rate for the drive from Guatemala City straight to the property. There’s amazing street vendors for food literally every street you walk down, it’s right by the Mirador, a 5 minute walk to all the best parts of the city and 10 minutes walking to the lake. The view from the roof is beautiful. The property itself was really clean and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. I honestly can’t say enough. We loved our stay here.

I had a great stay. Short but very comfortable. I slept very well, the bed is good, the garden is very silent at night. Juan is a great host, always asking what he can do to help. In addition to being an amazingly cozy and inviting atmosphere, she also explained her larger vision of reducing environmental impact (particularly on trash and water usage) and training local women as employees at a fair wage. Could not give a stronger recommendation for this hostel!

Julio also helped us with a shuttle onwards to El Salvador, and offered the cheapest price I could find. Huge thanks to Julio and the family!
