Villa Porta Maestra was the best apartment we have ever rented. It was lovely. The sofa and chairs were beautiful and very comfortable as were the beds. We were very appreciative of the Nespresso coffee machine (our favorites at each of our homes). We didn't cook, but bought Croatian cheeses and meats for a few dinners. The views from the windows were breathtaking. No matter which window we looked from had a perfect view. Stefani went out of her way to help us get our bags up to the apartment and went with my husband to park the car, as the apartment was in a car free area. She also insisted that she help us with our bags on our return to the car. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Porta Maestra. Hvar is a beautiful city and we really enjoyed our walks and very good restaurants.

It's a quick walk to the main square with restaurants and shops. The place was well equipped, it was very clean and spacious. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

Loved ending our day by sitting in the courtyard. Rose was an excellent host and had lots of great advice about Stari Grad and the surrounding area.
