It was like staying in a museum, so many fascinating indochinese artefacts. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Great base for Bromo and Tempak Sewu tours. Quite a way away but I think it was worth it to get back to such a super hotel.

Really beautiful retro classic vibes. Every nook and corner is decorated and selfie worthy. The swimming pool, the laundry room, dining atea, everything was just beatifully decorated. Spacious and clean room & bathroom. Breakfast was so-so It would be better if they served freshly brewed coffee from a barista-style coffee machine instead of pre-brewed coffee in a pot.

Big room, very comfortable bed, nice and clean amenities, everything was really good. Staff were very friendly and cared about the guest experience. If I go back to Jakarta this is one of the top choices. Great value for money, the hotel is new and the breakfast was very good. Will come back.

The House of Tugu is an enigma - absolutely fascinating and beautiful, full of history, whilst providing modern luxurious comfort in its unique and beautiful rooms. Genuinely loved my time here and I would fly back to Jakarta just to experience more time in this place. The staff were impeccable - Hevi was particularly helpful and kind, not to mention knowledgeable and very professional - a real credit to the wider team of staff. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly.
