The homestay is quiet which is nice. It’s also easy to organise the bromo hike and other tours from here. Nice quiet location not too far from town, a quick grab ride. The rooms were very clean and the shower is nice and hot with great water pressure.

Everything was planned down to the smallest detail, and we had the most professional guide who ensured we had an amazing experience. It was clear that our group received the best care and attention, making the adventure even more special. Offering a garden and mountain view, Maison Manendra - Bromo is located in Gubukklakah, 22 km from Mount Bromo and 25 km from Velodrome Malang. The view from the terrace (very nice chill place) great breakfast with fresh fruit from the garden, dinner was very good as well, well-organised tour to Bromo and pick up from Malang train station and drop off to Surabaya airport, all was perfect.

Set in Sidomukti, 34 km from Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Indah Damai Cottages has a private beach area, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. Really nice and helpful staff. Nice view to the Volcano. Cute little cottages. Simple but totally clean and nice Equipment for a stay there. Good fresh cooked breakfast.

Set in Kalibendo, 28 km from Watu Dodol, L'JAVAS VILLAS offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. We spent 5 days here and it was a perfect home base to explore ijen and other spots around. The host was very helpful not only with health certificate and proper gas masks but also with general advices for what to explore Clean and comfy room with excellent jungle and ijen view. Very calm and quiet. The waterfalls are just 5min behind the hotel. Tasty breakfast was served and our scooter found a dry place too ;)

Crazy to think that I woke up to the gentle sound of birds chirping and river flowing. The views I enjoyed from my bed were surreal. My tent was comfortable and had all the things I needed. Alas Restaurant was superb: food excellent, the views unbeatable. Truly a great experience!
