We had one of the separate cabins and extended for a day! The best? The outdoor bathroom! Like you literally stand on your own deserted island with cactuses and white sand!

Wonderful pools (3) with lots of different styles of lounging areas including the room terraces and the coffee shop feel of the restaurant. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had an incredible experience at this resort, and a special thank you goes to the amazing Karin! She was my main point of contact for organising my entire proposal and ensured everything was absolutely perfect. Even when we faced challenges in communicating our needs to the staff due to a language barrier, Karin stepped in effortlessly and made sure everything was taken care of. My fiancé and I had the most memorable time here, and we can’t wait to return soon. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Amber team for the exceptional hospitality. We will be recommending this resort to all our friends—staying here for at least a week is an absolute must! Thank you, Amber team and Karin, for making our stay truly unforgettable!

Our week at Katamaran Hotel & Resort Lombok was wonderful from the start. When we arrived, some renovations were happening, and the team immediately offered to move us to a beautiful oceanfront room away from the work area, a gesture we truly appreciated. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making our stay feel easy and comfortable. And then we met Nauval. His kindness, attention to detail, and heartfelt service made such an impact on our experience. He is the kind of person who elevates an entire resort simply by being who he is. Truly, every hotel should be so lucky to have a Nauval on their team. The property itself is lovely, peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway... but it’s the people who turn a stay into something truly memorable. We left grateful, refreshed, and already made plans to stay at the Katamaran Hotel & Resort Komodo next, excited to visit the Komodo dragons and looking forward to another wonderful experience. We loved Mowies! The staff are fantastic, so kind and helpful all the time. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean with really comfortable beds. The restaurant was lovely with excellent service! Location was super with only a few minutes walk to the port and to the centre.
