We spent one night in Tomohon and would definitely recommend staying with Riko and his family! The room is simple, but clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony overlooking the beautiful, well-kept garden and the volcano is fantastic. Since the house is located on a small side street, it’s also very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, we only had one day to explore the area, but Riko went out of his way to make the most of our time there. He organized a private tour for us, and we got to visit a waterfall, hot springs, the volcano, and several other spots — it was a wonderful day. We would absolutely come back!

Our room was spacious, clean and our bed was extremely comfortable. We only had to share the upstairs bathroom with one other room, and it had hot water which was very much appreciated.. There’s a lovely balcony and common areas to relax and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and water. The host is wonderful and truly went above and beyond for us - he allowed us to check-in very early and even cooked us breakfast the morning we arrived, he arranged our onward travel, provided free transport to the bus station and kindly packed some fruit for our journey. He can help you arrange a tour/guide, motorbike rental, find places to eat and visit. Our only suggestion is to be as clear as possible with your guide about what you are wanting to experience / see to avoid any disappointment. Unfortunately we missed a key day of the ma nene festival because of a miscommunication (which was partly our fault too.)

Frangky, his wife and Eda made the stay comfortable. The food was excellent (I really miss the fish) and everyone was very kind. There is usually chicken or fish but you can request vegetarian/vegan options. The beds were comfortable and the mosquito nets worked well (though I didn't notice many mosquitos). The location is excellent as snorkeling by the nearby beaches is great. You can see turtles basically every time you go. The nights are quiet and you can sleep with just a fan. If you need AC that is available as well. Frangky also offers trips and the dolphin trip was a good choice.

Maros noktasında yer alan RAMMANG-RAMMANG HOUSE tesisi Kampoeng Karst Rammang Rammang noktasına 12 km, Bantimurung Waterfall noktasına 25 km ve Fort Somba Opu noktasına 45 km mesafededir. I visited during Ramadan, and the family cooked all of my meals since the restaurants in the area were closed. The facilities are very simple and there is no wifi, but if you're thinking of visiting Rammang Rammang, I would strongly recommend this place.
